
Meet Cathryn Flores (KATT)

About
Cathryn Flores, known by her stage name KATT, is a 24-year-old recording artist and singer-songwriter from the Bay Area, California. She launched her artist project in 2020 with the release of her debut EP Friends at Night, followed by her latest single, SHE’S A LEO. When she’s not in the studio, Cathryn is pursuing a PhD in English Literature at UC Davis.
Joanna Serrano of Jaded Productions describes her as “today’s modern-day Hannah Montana — college student by day and aspiring pop star by night!”
KATT
Cathryn began her musical journey at age 10, performing with Starstruck Youth Theater. Since then, she has developed a unique style as a pop and Latin pop singer, pianist, and guitarist. Her performance credits include singing the national anthem to open concerts for John Mayer, Pitbull, and Jason Derulo at the California Mid-State Fair. In 2023–24, she headlined the main stage at Fremont's Festival of the Arts, further establishing herself as a dynamic live performer.
Cathryn served as the San Francisco Chapter Representative for the Recording Academy’s GRAMMY U and also held the role of National Projects Representative during the 2023–2024 term. As a contributing writer for GRAMMY.com, she has conducted interviews with notable artists including Young Miko at the SXSW Music Festival, as well as John Legend and Amy Allen at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards.
